The Honors Program is designed for curious and motivated students who desire to integrate spiritual values with academic excellence. Through carefully selected interdisciplinary courses, the program encourages deep thinking, meaningful understanding, and a sense of wonder. Students engage with a broad range of subjects while being challenged to grow intellectually and spiritually. The Honors Program equips students for a lifetime of Christ-like leadership, service, and continued learning, preparing them for both personal and professional success.
Program Highlights:
- Scholarship for international study tours.
- Wide range of interdisciplinary course choices that achieve the desired outcomes of the program.
- Honors Program curriculum replaces the normal General Education curriculum.
- Second-semester freshman may take 300 level courses. Sophomore students may take 400 level courses.
- Opportunity to conduct research.
- Completion of the program will be noted on official transcripts for future employers or graduate schools to see.
- Honors Program graduates receive recognition in the graduation program and a cord to wear with their graduation regalia.

International study tour scholarships
We believe that gaining an international perspective enriches students’ understanding of the world and strengthens their capacity for Christ-like leadership, service, and thoughtful engagement in a global society. That's why students in the Honors Program will receive a $2000 scholarship that can be used on global experiences sponsored by ½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ, such as study tours, courses offered through Adventist Colleges Abroad, or international volunteer experiences approved by Union's Campus Ministries.You have what it takes.
Admission requirements
Admission to the Honors Program follows completion of a , available to interested individuals. The essential requirement is a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 for both entering freshmen and college students.
Maintaining Membership
To continue in the Honors Program, a student is expected to:
- Enroll in appropriate Honors courses.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
